HIGHLAND RESCUE TEAM FOUNDATION
The Highland Rescue Team Foundation exists to provide assistance to the Highland Rescue Team Ambulance District through various fundraising efforts. Since the Foundation was formed in 1999, it has provided financial support for state of the art medical equipment as well as training for EMS providers.
The Highland Rescue Team Foundation is governed by a separate Board of Directors from the Ambulance District. Board members consist of community members, a representative of the Ambulance District Board of Directors, as well as a representative of the Highland Rescue Team membership.
Thanks to the efforts of the Foundation and the generosity of donors, we were able to contribute over $17,000 to the Ambulance District in 2006, and we have pledged over $20,000 for 2007. While tax revenues fund day to day operations of the Ambulance District, donations are needed so that ambulance crews can utilize state of the art medical equipment and receive the highest level of training.
